“Whoever wants to become great among you must first be your servant.” - Matthew 10:26

About FLiC

Freshmen Leaders in Christ exists to develop freshmen into servant leaders, all under the name of Christ.  We strive to serve others as a way of showing Jesus Christ's love to them.  We believe that the ultimate form of leadership is service, and that Christ exemplified this love when he died on the cross for humanity's sins, thereby conquering death and redeeming all humans.  We serve because He served first, and because our goal is to be more like Christ, we must follow in his actions, serving others.

More importantly, we desire to produce a body of believers, having fellowship, accountability, and service, that will unite as one, and pursue Christ.  We do this through the use of committees, meetings, events, prayer times, worship, Bible studies, and ultimately, service to those around Texas A&M, and the rest of the world.

FLiC is made up of 60 freshmen, 18 staff (sophomores), and 2 directors (juniors).  Because FLiC's purpose is to serve others because of what Christ did for us, all FLiC members must have a desire to pursue Christ, and consider themselves as Christians.
